In this unit, we will set out on a journey to understand the geography and history of Mexico and Central America. While Mexico generally seems to dominate the conversation around Central America, this region is as diverse as can be and stems from rich cultures that, despite a brutal history of silencing, are coming back to life and becoming relevant in the modern era.
